How Hub Pages Can Help You Share Your Expertise
Hub Pages is very similar to the Squidoo.com social networking site. You’re allowed to create an account and build unlimited Hubs, which are little pages of knowledge that you wish to share with a target audience.
The site provides some nice, easy to use WYSIWYG (what you see is what you get) page building tools called capsules (like Squidoo’s modules) where you just point and click to determine what type of content you want to use – text, video, photo, poll, or even an Amazon.com product capsule, for example.
If you have a blog where you primarily reach your online audience, then you can paste the RSS feed URL into the RSS capsule and your Hub Page will have a constant update of your blog information on it, ready to help you funnel visitors to your blog for more information about your business.
Hub Pages receive scores from its users – thumbs up or thumbs down, and if your Hub falls below a certain number (which has changed in the past), it can be taken down from the public spotlight.
The key is to provide a reasonable level of free, valuable information. Like Squidoo, they don’t want spammy content. Unlike Squidoo, Hub Pages has no problem removing your page until you comply with their rules and regulations.
Make sure you read the FAQ section and understand the rules for linking to your own website because they’re strict about such matters. For instance, you can’t link to the same domain more than two times on one Hub.
The perk of using Hub Pages is just like it is for Squidoo. Search engines love the site, so if you continually build great Hubs, you should be able to capture an audience from search engines like Google, Yahoo and others. Create content based on the keyword research you do for your niche, but make sure it doesn’t read awkwardly to your audience.

It’s true that Google loves Hubpages. It’s way easier to rank for any term, versus trying to do so on your own site. In my experience, it’s actually a lot easier than with Squidoo even.
Plus, the best part is you can make money off Adsense, Amazon, eBay, etc. And it’s free. Lots of people are pumping a lot of hubs out on a daily basis and are already seeing the beginnings of a perpetual income.
