Four Top Personal Branding Tools
Monday Memos

Monday Memos is a short list of the best finds across the internet to start your week off right.
Today I have some personal branding resources to help you improve your marketing. Here’s four links with tips and tricks to kick start your Monday.
1) If you are not ready to launch a full blog yet then there is a solution. A great online tool called, Passle, is a place to create a blog, or a simple summary page of of content that pertains to your niche. You can even include videos, images, and slideshows.
2) New on the marketing scene is a network similar to LinkedIn, but with more of a personal twist. Somewhere is a place where you can share your personal branding story and mission. Since this has just launched in 2014, it will be one to watch this year.
3) Want your blog to appear in Google search results? Then you will enjoy Brand Yourself, which gives you an opportunity to submit three profiles such as a website, social media profile, ect. for free. This is one worth checking out especially if your personal brand is newer.
4) Another good service to use in place of a blog is called, Vizify. Similar to About.me, brands and businesses can set up a page showcasing a biography, expertise, and connected networks. The tool will also pull effective tweets and create quotes for your page.
Have fun with these Monday Tips and Tools.
Wishing you a FAN-tastic week!

    Susan,
Thanks for the resources. Vizify is one of my favorites but now that they have changed hands, I wonder if Yahoo is going to keep the service going. I hope so!

Yes, that is the same email I got from them. After reading it more carefully, it looks like they are going to shut down. Such a shame.

I’m hoping the service that is currently provided by Vizify will continue under the Yahoo brand – fingers crossed!

Hi Susan, great tips and glad Passle got a mention! The newest feature to Passle is that once you have commented on something you have, you can grab in Tweets related to that topic. These are displayed alongside your new blog post to give context and enrich the post. Passle then generates a “Thank-You” tweet that you can send to those whose tweets you used. This is an amazing way to get instant engagement with your new post and get it read by more people.
